Meet Jonathon Huet– nature-led meditation tutor, storyteller and bushcraft expert.
Jonathon is a nature-led meditation tutor, storyteller and experienced guide in bushcraft and natural wisdom. A skilled woodsman and naturalist, he runs immersive courses such as Foraging, Fire & Folklore, Unwind in the Woods and Nature Led Meditation. With over 30 years of research into the folklore and spiritual traditions of the British Isles, Jonathon offers inclusive workshops that support mental health and holistic wellbeing.
Here’s what Jonathon had to say about the vital role nature plays in our lives—and how deeply healing it can be.
“Since I can ever remember I have had a keen interest in nature and even though I lived in a city, I used every opportunity I could to explore wild places. When I moved out of the city I joined the Junior Wildlife Trust, the BTCV and RSPCA and immersed in nature whenever I could. I sought a deeper connection at sixteen years of age as I suffered with severe anxiety, to the point where I did not want to leave the house.
We all need something to hold and support us when it feels like the pressures of life are overwhelming, something that is bigger than our fears, something so immense that it is even bigger than the world problems that we face today. That something for me is nature. The oldest traditions are in line with the most recent ecological research for they speak of a connection to the web of life and in being a part of the ecological systems that we have tried to dominate.
This re-connection to nature is needed now more than ever and can relieve our suffering and calm our over-stimulated minds. Most importantly we need not leave the place where we chance to be for nature is all around us and therefore we do not need to search in distant lands or for new techniques.”

FORAGING, FIRE & FOLKLORE
Join Jonathon a seasonal journey into nature. Each event blends wild food foraging, native tree wisdom and a Celtic Fire Ceremony. Enjoy a guided woodland walk, learn traditional fire-lighting and hear the ancient stories of the land—all designed to help you slow down, reconnect and rediscover the magic of the natural world.
NATURE LED MEDITATION
A series of guided meditation workshops, each with its own natural rhythm and theme. These gentle sessions blend meditation with nature-based practices to help you reconnect with the land, restore inner calm and experience the healing bond between yourself and the natural world we all share.
UNWIND IN THE WOODS
This unique workshop blends beginner-friendly whittling with guided meditation and woodland folklore. Craft your own wooden spatula, enjoy a campfire-cooked lunch, then step into a peaceful yurt for story-led meditation inspired by British mythology. End the day with herbal tea, nature-based reflection and a renewed sense of calm and connection.
