Creative Forest Bathing & Therapeutic Sound day
Saturday 6th September 2025
Take a Breath, Slow Down and Reconnect
Why not try a new way to care for your wellbeing? Join us for a soul-nourishing day in the heart of the South Downs National Park — where nature, creativity and sound come together to help you reset and recharge.
Begin your day with the peaceful practice of Forest Bathing, a gentle journey through ancient woodland designed to calm the mind and reconnect you with nature’s rhythms. Pause, breathe and sip foraged tea beneath the trees.
After a nourishing lunch, explore your creative side with nature-inspired art, drawing patterns from leaves, bark and feathers. No experience needed — just curiosity and an open mind.
We’ll end with a deeply soothing sound journey, where the vibrations of gongs and singing bowls wash over you, inviting deep rest and balance.
“I had a powerful experience with Janice Forest Bathing. It took me to another dimension that I didn’t expect. I almost felt like I was a young child again, lost within a magical forest. I loved it all from opening up my five senses to sitting with my tree.” - Course Participant

Unwind in the Woods
Saturday 20th September 2025
A Day of Whittling and Meditation
Step into stillness and creativity with a unique day retreat that blends wood carving, meditation and nature connection.
Begin your morning around the fire, learning the calming skill of whittling as you carve your own wooden spatula from green wood. After a hearty campfire lunch, step into our cosy yurt for an afternoon of storytelling, meditation and woodland folklore.
Guided by the ancient myths of the British Isles, you’ll journey inward with gentle, grounding meditation — reconnecting with yourself and the natural world. Enjoy a healing cup of herbal tea as we explore how trees, animals and the wild landscape can support us in finding balance and peace.
This is a day to unplug, slow down and return home with new skills, a handmade keepsake and a renewed sense of calm.
